Terms, in plain English

These are the terms for a website from Eye Catching Websites ("I", "me" — Luke). They're short on purpose. Last updated September 2026.

The free preview

I build a preview of your new homepage for free. If you don't want to go ahead, you owe nothing and I delete it.

What you pay

• Standard: $250 to build your site, then $50 a month, starting 30 days after your site goes live.
• Nothing down: $0 to build, then $79 a month for 12 months.

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. I never see your card details.

What the monthly plan covers

Hosting, the security certificate, backups, keeping the site working, and reasonable changes to your existing pages when you ask (new hours, prices, photos, a special). New pages or big redesigns I'll quote separately before doing anything.

Ordering, booking and payments

Online ordering, booking, gift cards and bill pay are included when they fit your business. Payments go directly to your own payment account (Stripe, Square or whatever you already use) at that provider's standard processing rate. I never take a commission or a cut of any sale or booking.

Your web address and your content

You own your web address (domain). If you don't have one, I'll help you register it in your name. Your text, photos and logo stay yours. You give me permission to use them on your site.

Stopping

You can cancel the monthly plan any time by emailing me. Your site stays up for 30 days after the last paid month, and I send you all the site's files so you can host them anywhere. On the nothing-down plan, cancelling before 12 months means the remaining months are due, since that plan spreads out the build cost.

Things I don't promise

I'll build a fast, well-made site and keep it running, but I can't guarantee search rankings, a number of customers, or that third-party services (Google, your registrar, booking or ordering tools) never change.
